sick baby

Well Bruce has been sick since Saturday evening, with cough, at first dry heaving(dont know if I spelled that right) then the vomiting started later. It got really bad to where he was throwing up water...anyways I took him to the ER and had him checked out and honestly they really didn't tell me what his problem was. I was there from 10pm on saturday to 1am sunday, I HATE THE ER! anyways, we got there and they checked his temperature-which was fine, pulse-which was fine, and then they gave him this Zofran stuff to help with the nausea which went all of the floor and the bed right after giving it to him. We had to wait for awhile to see how he does with what meds went in his system, he did fine and no more vomiting. So they finally release us and get home and he throws up some more, we have to change his pj's and put him in bed, I slept on his floor so I can hear him if he needs anything. The next day the poops start...(poor kid), and the vomiting is still happening of course, no fever. I called his doctor to find out what needs to happen without having to go the Idiot farm (ER) again, and he said "just give him some pedialyte and keep him hydrated and keep your eye on him, if he gets worse take him back to the ER, if he doesn't get better but not worse call me on monday morning and I will examine him." Well today Monday, he is doing much better no throwing up, yes he still has the poops, he is very unhappy, (do you blame him?) I am still trying to decide if it is necessary to still have his doctor examine him or not.

crawling

My little bumblebee is starting to crawl...Friday morning I took my niece back home and we were just hanging out when out of no where he starts to move forward! He is not the best yet but holy cow talk about genius, he just figured it out all by himself. He will pick up one hand and move it forward and his knees will follow, but then when he tries his other hand he falls, but the funny thing is...is that he pushes himself forward as he falls so then he moves up more! OH MY GOSH!! Now the hard part for me will be keeping the crap off the floor everyday (which should be done anyways) that he can get and eat or just get super dirty. I need to be on top of the cleaning! -good luck to me, right?!

did I mention he can say Dada!!! well and mama but that is only when he is crying!

getting so big

Bruce is now getting up on all fours and rocking back and forth, he tries to move forward but falls on his face and gets mad. I can get him to stand by himself while holding on to his crib, he thinks that is the funniest thing ever but hey as long as he is happy, right?! I bought some of those fruit puff thingers for Bruce and the little stinker loves them, he will even grab them and feed himself, what a smarty pants!

Sleeping

I just don't get it...the What to expect website says that you can start your babies to sleep through the night at 6 months of age and I was going to, but...his doctor says not yet that babies at his age still need to eat in the middle of the night :/ well I am so confused on what to do! Anyways I am wondering because he is driving me crazy!!! The last 2 nights he has been waking up every 1-2 hours, is he sick? is he hurting? who knows?! But I have not been able to sleep and I am getting very impatient with people and I have not been very friendly! I mean who would on little sleep?! grr... I am so annoyed that I could just choke the doctor or the author of that stupid book for telling me to do or not to do something!
I mean what am I suppose to do just wait until he is 3 to get him to sleep?! WRONG! I just don't know anymore, I am starting to believe that I am just clueless on this parenting thing and I might just mess up my children for the lack of parenting skills!!

Long time

I am so bad at this Blog thing I forget to update it when something happens!! I will try to do better, I promise!
anyways...
something new...well Bruce is 5 months and will be 6 months next week, he is cruising in his walker, has no desire to crawl he wants to just skip that and walk! He went to Jungle Jims for the first time today for a cousin's birthday party and went on the Merry go round and the boats and the airplanes! I don't think he cared to much for any of it, but the bright lights!
what else...
oh I got more clothes for him (like he needs anymore) but I had to unload the extra dresser and put the clothes that was in that in storage until he gets bigger, and then the clothes that fit and the clothes that almost fit are in that extra one, and the one we already had! This kid has more clothes than me and Steve put together!!! Spoiled child!!

Christmas Time

Christmas Time is almost here, I am so excited to share the holidays with my little Bru. I know he wont remember but I will and have stories. My little Bruce is trying to walk (with help) and trying to crawl (with help). he is 4 months going on 7 months!!! What a smart cookie! I love him so much.
