what a day!!!

Yesterday was horrible I was sick as could be, couldn't breath and when I tried I would cough so hard that my throat felt like it was on fire! ouch! anyways I am not here to talk about me being sick, I wanted to state that I have a genius for a son! Let me tell you what happened...he has this little book that if you touch the circle it talks to you and tells you the story for that page, any who he knows how to push the button to get it to speak, and he loves it so I hear the same page 10 million times so I know the book by heart now! Now if there is a button to be pushed he will push it! lol...other things he can do is climb up the stairs, today I turned my back for a moment and he climbed into this big container I had in the hall ( I will put the picture on). This kid loves to climb on me and so last night that is what he started to do but then let go and he was standing all by himself (for about 10 sec) but still the little crackerbox is only 8 months old!!!

Bruce update

Well lets see...what is new with the Bru Bru man?! He of course is crawling, he has 2 teeth now "CHOMP CHOMP!" He is trying to get the walking part mastered but no luck yet. He will get up on the furniture and move back and forth then he will try to let go and walk away but then kisses the floor 5 seconds later. He loves french fries, and anything that we are eating, he still doesn't like the baby food peas, green beans yet. I tried giving him the garden vegetables last night and then he started to cry because he hated them so much :( oh well I wont force him to like them. He went on the swing for the first time today and loved it...he says mama all the time now. I think that is it for right now...My baby boy is getting so big! STOP GROWING!

Pictures

So I love to take pictures, I am not the best but I enjoy it... Anyways I decided to go to Sears and have Easter pictures done well that was a mistake! The kid would not smile for anything, I couldnt get him to smile and the lady (which I don't think he liked) couldn't either, so after what seemed to be a long half hour, we had some really cute ones and he didn't even have to smile... just take a look yourselves. I have the cutest baby in the world!!!

sick baby

Well Bruce has been sick since Saturday evening, with cough, at first dry heaving(dont know if I spelled that right) then the vomiting started later. It got really bad to where he was throwing up water...anyways I took him to the ER and had him checked out and honestly they really didn't tell me what his problem was. I was there from 10pm on saturday to 1am sunday, I HATE THE ER! anyways, we got there and they checked his temperature-which was fine, pulse-which was fine, and then they gave him this Zofran stuff to help with the nausea which went all of the floor and the bed right after giving it to him. We had to wait for awhile to see how he does with what meds went in his system, he did fine and no more vomiting. So they finally release us and get home and he throws up some more, we have to change his pj's and put him in bed, I slept on his floor so I can hear him if he needs anything. The next day the poops start...(poor kid), and the vomiting is still happening of course, no fever. I called his doctor to find out what needs to happen without having to go the Idiot farm (ER) again, and he said "just give him some pedialyte and keep him hydrated and keep your eye on him, if he gets worse take him back to the ER, if he doesn't get better but not worse call me on monday morning and I will examine him." Well today Monday, he is doing much better no throwing up, yes he still has the poops, he is very unhappy, (do you blame him?) I am still trying to decide if it is necessary to still have his doctor examine him or not.

crawling

My little bumblebee is starting to crawl...Friday morning I took my niece back home and we were just hanging out when out of no where he starts to move forward! He is not the best yet but holy cow talk about genius, he just figured it out all by himself. He will pick up one hand and move it forward and his knees will follow, but then when he tries his other hand he falls, but the funny thing is...is that he pushes himself forward as he falls so then he moves up more! OH MY GOSH!! Now the hard part for me will be keeping the crap off the floor everyday (which should be done anyways) that he can get and eat or just get super dirty. I need to be on top of the cleaning! -good luck to me, right?!

getting so big

Bruce is now getting up on all fours and rocking back and forth, he tries to move forward but falls on his face and gets mad. I can get him to stand by himself while holding on to his crib, he thinks that is the funniest thing ever but hey as long as he is happy, right?! I bought some of those fruit puff thingers for Bruce and the little stinker loves them, he will even grab them and feed himself, what a smarty pants!
