Sleeping

I just don't get it...the What to expect website says that you can start your babies to sleep through the night at 6 months of age and I was going to, but...his doctor says not yet that babies at his age still need to eat in the middle of the night :/ well I am so confused on what to do! Anyways I am wondering because he is driving me crazy!!! The last 2 nights he has been waking up every 1-2 hours, is he sick? is he hurting? who knows?! But I have not been able to sleep and I am getting very impatient with people and I have not been very friendly! I mean who would on little sleep?! grr... I am so annoyed that I could just choke the doctor or the author of that stupid book for telling me to do or not to do something!
I mean what am I suppose to do just wait until he is 3 to get him to sleep?! WRONG! I just don't know anymore, I am starting to believe that I am just clueless on this parenting thing and I might just mess up my children for the lack of parenting skills!!

Long time

I am so bad at this Blog thing I forget to update it when something happens!! I will try to do better, I promise!

something new...well Bruce is 5 months and will be 6 months next week, he is cruising in his walker, has no desire to crawl he wants to just skip that and walk! He went to Jungle Jims for the first time today for a cousin's birthday party and went on the Merry go round and the boats and the airplanes! I don't think he cared to much for any of it, but the bright lights!
what else...
oh I got more clothes for him (like he needs anymore) but I had to unload the extra dresser and put the clothes that was in that in storage until he gets bigger, and then the clothes that fit and the clothes that almost fit are in that extra one, and the one we already had! This kid has more clothes than me and Steve put together!!! Spoiled child!!

Christmas Time

Christmas Time is almost here, I am so excited to share the holidays with my little Bru. I know he wont remember but I will and have stories. My little Bruce is trying to walk (with help) and trying to crawl (with help). he is 4 months going on 7 months!!! What a smart cookie! I love him so much.

Halloween

Bruce's first Halloween and he is a pumpkin, a cute one at that!!! The outfit is too big for him that it drowns him, but at least it keeps him some what warm in this cold weather!!

Eating and sleeping

well it is official my baby is starting rice cereal!! yeah he is a little young but he is needing to sleep a bit more at night, and the rice cereal will help with that. Although he is going to bed on time every night at 8:30 and waking up at 1:30am, which is good for me if I lay down when he does I get at least 4 hours every night! I am not trying to push it to much, but he is one unhappy person at times during the day if he doesn't sleep good at night! So wish me luck tonight is the first night we are trying this rice cereal thing!! hope it works!!

Bruce Michael Tervort

Bruce Michael Tervort was born on July 22, 2009 at 12:47 pm. He was 9 pounds 8 ounces, and 20 inches long. It was a 16 hour labor and the funny thing is I only slept an hour of the time!!! yikes! I don't know how I did it!
Dad is totally loving fatherhood, he sings to him, and gets up with him when I am dead asleep and wont budge!
Bruce is now starting to smile and be more alert, he is now getting to the point where he sleeps good at night. He loves to be outside, he loves the pretty girls, he is already set up with 3 girls to get married (in the future of course).
Mom loves to cuddle him and loves to make him smile.
He is our joy and our life now and we are grateful that he is in our lives!

Forever Family

We the Tervort Family are pleased that you have come to our site. Shmee and Wheezy were married August 16th 2006 and was sealed August 17th 2007. We have enjoyed our time together before adding Tervort #3 to our family. We are going to be a forever family.
